Turnstiles & Speed Gates

Controlled entry. Considered movement. Turnstiles and speed gates that connect access permissions with the way people arrive, move and leave.

People, passage & protection

A clear boundary. A smooth arrival.

Pedestrian entrance control creates a managed boundary at receptions, staff entrances and site perimeters. We select the right barrier, lane layout and access-control interface for your security needs, peak traffic and day-to-day operations—without treating accessibility or safe escape as an afterthought.

Design & integration

Designed around the entrance. Connected to the building.

The right solution balances security, peak-time flow, accessibility and safe escape.

We survey routes, arrival patterns, available space, floor fixings, power and cabling before recommending a lane layout. Reader integration can use existing cards, fobs or mobile credentials where supported. Compatible visitor-management and CCTV interfaces can link permissions and passage events.

Fire alarm interfaces, emergency release and power-loss behaviour are agreed with the building’s fire strategy and risk assessment. We test the required responses at commissioning; a turnstile is not assumed to provide a suitable escape route simply because it can unlock.

Handover covers normal operation, alarms, visitor access and manual controls. Planned maintenance checks mechanisms, barriers, sensors and safety functions to keep the entrance dependable as usage changes.
